How to Measure Your Stump(s)

A stump is measured from the root to the root. This gives an accurate measurement of the width a stump needs to be grinded. Below is an image that will assist you in measuring your stumps accurately so that we can provide an accurate initial quote. Be sure to measure from one side to the direct opposite side of the stump. We like to say measure from dirt to dirt. In other words the end of the flare on the stump to the end of the flare on the opposite side of the stump.
